Google Adsense Code Generation tips:
You can setup Google Adsense Code on web pages after the approval of
your application. When your Google Adsense Account is approved and
activated do the following.
Getting AdSense Code:
• Signin your Google Adsense Account first
• Click on AdSense Setup tab in your account page
• Select AdSense for Content Then press continue button.
• In format select 300x250 Medium Rectangle, leave other options as
default
• In next page click on Add New Channels and name it such as HomePageMR
(MR for medium rectangle etc) and continue.
• Name the unit name and click on Submit and Get Code
• Copy the code and save it some where for future use.
Pasting the AdSense Code:
• Now open your Home Page in HTML editor such as MicroSoft FrontPage or
Notepad
• Paste the above copied code where you want to show the ads.
• Do not change or edit the code just paste as it is.
• After pasting the code save your webpage and upload again on the
server
• After 10 minutes Targeted ads will be display on your web page.
• After 10 minutes check your web page for proper location, proper
visibility should not be overlapped on your contents, should be
targeted, colors and fonts should be matched/ blended properly with your
pages. Never Click on any ads during checking the ads display, even
should not be clicked by mistake, remember it otherwise your account may
be banned. Yes you can see your ads by opening the web page in browsers.
• If you are not satisfied with the colors and fonts then go to again
your account page and click AdSense Setup tab>Managed Ads > Edit your
code. Remember: you need not to generate new code for just minor
changes. Just edit the existing code and wait for 10 minutes to become
effect.
Keep in mind some other things also
- Fonts and colors should be matched with your webpage. So that ads looks like a part of your web page. Blended ads increases click rates.
